India is a diversified country that sets a perfect example for unity in diversity. There are many religions flourishing in India that reside in unity without hampering each others presence. Every religion follows its own custom and tradition. These customs differs from one another. Weddings in India are a mix of these customs and rituals. Hindu community covers a major part of the country. There are other religions as well which includes the Muslims, Christians, Jain, Sikh, Parsi etc.
Wedding is perhaps the most important part of one’s life. It’s a social occasion for an individual and their family. Weddings in India build up a festive atmosphere filled with fun and excitement. India is highly influenced by western ideas and culture but the traditional Indian values still remain intact. Even today Indian weddings follow the same tradition and customs but with a touch of western ideas.
